Subject: [AH] Is my MKS-80/MPG-80 broken?
Message-ID: <

HI there,
Just a quick question about the MKS-80/MPG-80... I justed picked one up and
it has the following
strange behaviour... I'm trying to work out if this is normal or not (I
spoke to one guy here on the group and he
seemed to think not....)
When I use the MPG-80, the sliders don't seem to send a signal to the MKS-80
until they have moved at least 10-12 'units' away from there inital resting
position....
So.... if the cutoff was on 0, Only once I reach a value of 12 or more
does the parameter changes! So on the MKS-80 display it will jump from 0 to
12, and then
move smootly after this... Evry slider does this the first time it's
used....
Shocking for real time control (as you get a real hiccup as the param jumps)
....
Is this normal? Or is mine stuffed....
Cheers, and thanks in advance...!
Guy
