what, you don't want the Christmas Modular? :)
black is no problem. i'll just order black; we don't need a new design in
the files.

the three toggles are for mode bits 1, 2 and 4, to choose modes 0-7. kind of
like the miniwave. they replace those three dip switches, and are spst. the
four midi channel switches stay behind the panel, and the last one is unused
on the board anyway. if your paia module's already assembled, open (turn
'off') the three mode dip switches, and wire up the panel toggles to the
traces.

you use pcb-mount spst on-off-on switches. you'll need two switch boards --
two channels on each (two buffer boards too). you can get those switches for
$.30 each (if you get 100) at allelectronics.com. these switches are a
PERFECT fit -- there is no play for the toggle to wiggle in.

if you don't use holders, 5.05mm is a good fit for T1-3/4 led's. good price
on those at www.unicornelectronics.com

no problem at all.

the paia one has some quirks (which is why i like paia stuff). the motm adsr
is very good, and only $89 (kit). i just got a synth.com one, but it needs
an additional +5v bus, which I don't have yet. $80, basic, assembled. the
oakley one should be very cool, but i don't have one yet. anyone? that one
has a built-in VCA, too.

(as an aside, the uLFO is a steal at $99 (kit), though you may have to wait
quite a while -- i think he's really backed up on that one. can't beat two
LFO's, one w/ sine and fm, for that price.)

take care,
scott
