I'll have the check out the thickness thing! It's weird because all those panels were made from the same (I was told) shipment of metal.
 
I'll have Oakley panels in a couple weeks, chrome-free and exportable.

Haven't got a 2U yet, but the 1U is substentially (50%) off, so i
assume 1,5mm thickness vs. 3mm.
However -- the design fits well into my "mixtures" of modules.

Unfortunately, i don't have a company like Bridechamber here in
Europe, because import tax eats up a bit of
the cheaper price.

oakley's pcb's rocks, but the lack of people offering panel
engraving / silkscreening in europe makes it hard
to build a lot of other modules :-(

In the last 4 weeks i lost 2 suppliers of my front panels ∗sigh∗
