I like doing stereo modules for several reasons. I like to have two
each of most modules because it makes stereo patches possible. If I am
doing the panel, making it dual is cheaper than making two singles.
There is only one panel, one bracket and one power connector (I wire the
power across internally). And I prefer to locate identical modules next
to each other in my cabinets, so there is no drawback for me in having
them in a single panel. I haven't done any 4U size panels; I am only
making duals in 2U size.

As to the Stooge first run vs. Schaeffer, Stooge has the advantage in
looking identical to MOTM, but disadvantage in taking longer to get and
you have to pay extra for hole drilling, or drill the holes yourself.
Stooge first run cost is about the same as a Schaeffer panel. With
Schaeffer you get exactly what you design, you get it in less than a
month, and holes are included in the cost. The drawback is cost and
non-identical look. All my Schaffer panels are styled alike, but it
costs me a lot. I didn't realize at first that the tick marks for each
pot dial are about $4.00 per pot. So if you use one of my panel
designs, feel free to remove some or all of the tick marks if you want
to save money.

I will upload my three new dual CGS panels to the group today. I have
finalized the designs, but I have not ordered yet.

Copying the group on this too.
