so, the point of this is to have 1) matched & constant input and output impedance 2) there's no power in the audio path 3)both channels are perfectly balanced. correct?
seems kind of strange to do it that way to me because it still requires a voltage source to power the leds. And although it will be "musical", wouldn't it make more sense that if you need a voltage source to use a high quality VCA like a THAT2180A and at least have a little bit of gain be possible too? is it possible to maintain constant impedance if that's the case?
I'm told one learns by asking questions, so I ask :)
