I heard from Richard and he said this would be done by leaving that end of each of those 4 resistors unconnected from the board, leaving it floating with the wire soldered to the floating end. He discouraged this because it isn't structurally as sound, but given I'm a little hesitant to permanently modify my board like this, especially since I'm nervous I might do it wrong or muck it up somehow, I might at least initially go this route.
