The holes are for those little one-piece cheap bezels I use. You'll have to drill them out a bit to use other bezels, I think. That's the problem w/ DIY -- coming up with one size for every person. You can always drill a hole larger, but not smaller.

but they're too big?  I thought they were the "MOTM Standard"?

Would love to get something that didn't involve me switching out any resistors
