Hey folks,
Don't forget, that unlike the original Buchla design,
this PCB has "resonance" added with an onboard mixer
for CV's and an onboard mixer for audio. This allows
the end user to create what they want. Add that to the
fact the board takes different speeds of Vactrols and
the hole thing is fairly flexible to the end user.
For example, slower Vacvtrols like the VTL5C4 lend to
a dual space MOTM with 3 inputs (audio) and 2 CV
inputs. The end result is a filter with Vactrol
characterstics (like a sort of rubbery lag on things).
Single units can be built into 1 space MOTM panels
with knobs descending from the top of the module like
this:
Knob 1 - Offset (Freq)
Knob 2 - Resonance
Knob 3 - Level (can be CV or Audio input)
Knob 4 (or switch) - Rotary 3-Pos or Toggle 3PDT
Top 2 jacks - 2 CV ins
Bottom 2 jacks - In/Out (audio)
I think all of my PCB's have made it to the end users
or I am sure I would have heard something by now. Any
left I will sell on a first come/first serve bassis
per the Elctro-music.com forum post listed below. Many
thanks!
Thomas
