I noticed that if the Gain is turned down toofar, the outputs drift
toward the negative and freeze. If the Gain is high enough, the Rate
will go very low without freezing. Yes, a 10-turn pot for the Rate
sounds like a good idea. Here's a link to a recording I made today. It
may surprise you, the way I harnessed the chaos and put it to musical
effect.
