Subject: Re: [ModularSynthPanels] CGS Super Psycho LFO in Frac?

you've looked at the metalbox site right? http://metalbox.com/modules/images/superpsycho.gif

i just got my super psycho board too actually. i'll probably mount it on the far right side of the panel like most of the other metalbox stuff or possibly between the 2nd and 3rd row of pots.

for mounting what you need to do is take the pcb and measure the distance of the mounting holes. i'll probably mount mine horizontally so it'll be the shortest length. then you can create that distance in fpd. the pcb mounting holes are the same size as the frac rack mounting holes. let me know if you need the value.

the only real problem is finding screws, nuts and brackets small enough to get the job done. the screws and nuts you should be able to source from ACE Hardware. the brackets are extremely hard to find but mouser stocks them. http://www.mouser.com/Search/ProductDetail.aspx?qs=aNr0Yui8wHbvUXW%2f78Sjog%3d%3d

i bought 50 brackets so far and i'll probably grab more as i've had a ton of trouble finding them elsewhere. i can share my FPD once i get to it. my only issue is the LED's. the only LED's i've ever mounted before were on the Blacet Mixer/Processor and that was board mounted. so i'm sweating a bit on that.

I got the dc mixer one off here but even on that... i dont see how you'd mount the pcb to the
panel.

Ideas on either? thanks! :)
