I have one of Ken Stones PCBs and know of others how have been
recently building these into their MOTM / Oakley format systems. I
find that my PCB is long and skinny compared to the Oakly / MOTM /
Blacet formats.
In fact, on the Wave Multiplier PCB I have, the 6 inch length, is too
long running up and down for even my wide 4 pot bracket.
So, anyhow here is my question....
I am thinking af making a new bracket. Todd has asked me to make
these available. It would be the same depth as my 3 pot and 4 pot
short brackets. However, the back 2 1/2 inches of the bracket would
be at least 6 inches tall. This would go behind any pots, switches,
or jacks on the front of the panels leaving almost 2 inches of space
for mounting stuff in front of the bracket.
Since Ken is not consistent with PCB hole placement, there would be
no PCB mouting holes. But, the bracket PCB mouting space would be
large enough for any of his PCBs (the bigger ones that do not fit on
my normal brackets). And, they would of course conform to the normal
MOTM statdards. This would be a 3 pot bracket.
Any interest in these brackets?
