Was up to see JB and MS yesterday.
I had a bit of time in hand and was able to hear a brilliant new string combination..Sad strings blended with Tony Levins Electric Cello. Either as a pre-set combination or preferably the 2 tracks side by side so you make your own blend, the overall sound is incredibly powerful and melancholic. Just the sort of thing to bring those hairs on the back of your neck up!... Wonderful.
Needless to say, they were both in fine form, with some exciting plans for the future.
May they live long and prosper. ( yes I know....sad old Trekkie!)
