Subject: Re: Wow! Pinder signed tron on Ebay...

Thing is, I remember a few years ago finding a website where a fellow
named Chuck described taking the lid of his M400 to a Mike Pinder book
signing where he had it signed by Mike. Photos of him standing in
line, Mike with pen in hand and so forth. I can't seem to find that
site now but it might be interesting, if Chuck can be found, to ask
him if he still has that unit or if he has sold it and to whom. Makes
me wonder if the 'seller' is selling a "collage-o-'tron" made up of
photos from the web and stories from a number of different machines.
Of course we all know he's out to rip off some unsuspecting person, or
if he isn't, he needs a lesson in how not to appear to be a crook!

"perkinsestate" The auction ended on 2/2/06 with a winning bid of
$2,135.00 and was "won" by "hoondogdetroit". So my recollection was a
little of, but the "winner" is the seller's friend. the seller listed
his location as Pontiac.

That time it apparently sold.

either does the winning bidder. I expect we haven't heard the last of
it yet.
