Actually, if you watch the very end afterthe applause, you can see Ray say something to Pinder about it… Kind of adirty look. Pinder just looks past him… ooooppppssss….

At 4:27 Pinder jumps the gun once againand ends the song early. The rest of the band follows him even though you hearanother “You Know its True…”  Pretty embarrassing…

But we all make mistakes, and MikePinder’s overall brilliance overshadows this poor performance(IMHO)…

Thanks guys...I guess that explains Justin's blank space...-a fast recovery attempt on that last verse..that for a moment almost wasn'tthere.

I missed that last screw up Dave..could you elaborate?

Frank1...must be nice to have a tron with a pedigree.

What he is trying to do is recover from a MAJOR fuck-up. He thinksthe song is ending and forgot about the repeat of the chorus. He plays thestring lead out and realizes that he screwed up and tries to recover. He makesanother screw-up at the very end.

So, I waswondering if you 'Tron erudite know what Pinder is trying to do 4:03 minutesinto this song...

The videoclearly shows him starting to play a nice 'tron riff, then after a bit ofstrings...nothing happens - and he reaches for the controls on the left side ofthe console and makes some adjustment ...and then finishes the song nicely.

On thismodel...(MKII? ) I thought all the stuff on the left was that rhythm andfill stuff...not lead instrument channel selectors ....or did he have to hitthe on/off switch?

Well, this video is kinda foggy, and it's B&W...but it leastit is a Mellotron (a MkII?) - instead of a Hammond B-3.

And it sounds pretty good cranked up.
