Hi Jon, Mike Pinder was reported to have four MK-II's at onepoint
or another. The one I refurbed from San Diego is #134.The second MK-II Pindertron was owned by Jimmy Herbst in Florida,
for many years. Dave Kean informed me that he acquired it directly
from Mike P's brother Reggie in the 1980's I believe.
Pindertron #210 is mostly original inside . Except for tapes, the amps,
reverb,VFO,orig. power-pack are all there.Jimmy sadly passed away in 2003, he was a good friend of DK's .
Thanks Dave for those details. A tribute to Jimmy Herbst'smemory
will be written when MK-II #210 is unveiled at future MONEYPIT .That leaves two more Pindertrons out-there. Good Will Hunting!
Cheers, - JK -
