I used to use some tape head lubricant(silicone based) back in the day (Tascam or even
Radio Shack) not only on the heads but the tops of the metal guide combs....basically
wherever the tape flowed. It got rid of my sticking tape problems. I even got to tell David
Cross from KC at a 1974 concert in Toledo OH and he wrote it all down.
