M400 # 912 - Original tag says it shipped in Nov '73-  I purchased it in the summer of 1988 in San Francisco and still resides in SF. Came with w/muff, volume pedal and Leslie 147- all for $125! Some tapes were missing but original set had Choir, Brass, Strings. Don't think 1st owner played it very often as it had very little wear both inside and out. I think he lived in New York at the time of purchase and said he paid $4000 for it. -Jim

Anybody ever asked if everyone on the list who is fortunate enough to have a Mellotron (or Chamberlin) would tell the list so that we can see how many and what makes and models of instruments are accounted for by this group?  I'd think it would be an interesting survey, especially if everyone that has one actually responds.  I'll start:
