Paul,  The classicscenario of supply-and-demand.
Several of us have privatelycontemplated having
repros of neon switch-capsmade offshore.

Mark actually raised anall-important issue.....Parts.
Antique Electronic Supplyin Tempe,AZ sells many
repro items for old Ampeg,Fender, etc , amps ,
old radios from the GoldenAge ,and more vintage stuff.
We need a similar versionfor things Mellotronic .

Now that Bulgin no longerproduces the orig. M400
knobs,switches/caps, copyinfringements would not be
an issue.

I'm certain that DK wouldbe most happy to provide you
with switch-cap, eitherdirectly or thru Markus' group.
Ask him....."Nothing ventured,nothing gained."

Larry "Synergy" Fast wouldbe thrilled if he had an
OEM intact replacementswitch-cap for his #725.
When I refurbed it in 2004,I noticed that Larry heat-shrunk
white tubing over his crackedneon-cap years ago.

See photo. At his request,I left the cabinet as-is, since
all those dings were putthere by LF himself thru the decades.
The four rubber circlesremain where his Mini-Moog sat.

New power pack design,Paul??  Proves my earlier
statements about differentpeople taking different paths,
but with same goal in mind.Mellotron's legacy. Kudos, mate !

Cheers,  JK
