I think that you are correct about the photo of the gear showing the MK
II although it's a side shot with the roadies standing in front of it.
If you didn't know, you'd miss it. There is also a brief sighting of
this Mark II in the Floyd film "Live at Pompeii" which was filmed around
the same time as ummagumma was recorded. The same truck as seen on the
back album cover pulls up in the 1st scene and starts to set up all the
gear that we see in the photo. At one point during the performance, the
camera pans behind Mr. Wright and you get a brief glimpse of the Black
MK II. You wont see him ever play it though! I don't hear it at any
point either but it must be used somewhere or why haul it around?
