Re: the PFM vid on YouTube... I thought I recognized it... I have a copy on a DVD featuring Anglagard... live in Milwaukee '94.... that a friend gave me. He put the PFM footage on the end as filler (now THAT'S what I call "Filler"!!!)... as the Anglagard concert ran a little over an hour. Speaking of the Anglagard concert... if you haven't seen this footage... it was shot in a club, on one video cam-corder... using the cam-corder's mike. The footage includes pre-concert set-up, along with the concert... and yes... there is 'Tron... although you can barely see it. Granted... it's not the best quality footage... but other than the footage released on the ProgFest '94 video (which hasn't been released on DVD... and is out of print on video)... this is the ONLY video of an excellent group... in an intimate setting... I wish it was available as an official release... "warts"and all.
For those of you who haven't seen the Moody Blues Dutch TV videos from 1969... most of them have been posted on YouTube... check out Mike's use of his MK 2's pitch control on "Legend Of A Mind"
If you're a fan of English psychedelic music... and are in London this weekend... you might want to attend the Mighty Baby Reunion concert on Friday and Saturday. A friend of mine... who is flying over to see this concert... tells me that this if the first time in 35 years that most of the group has been on stage together. Ian Wightman... Mighty Baby's keyboardist/wind player (and an excellent 'Tronist) will not be on stage with the group...but may be in attendance. For those fans that can't be there... don't despair... there are rumors of a live recording... and possibly a video of this historic event. I'm sure that there will be details at the Action/Mighty Baby web-page, when the info becomes available.
Finally... has anyone watched the video of the Japanese guy changing his Mellotron tape frame, that was posted on YouTube???
