quite like to see you play again - anything in the pipeline? >>

nothing planned (yet) for the u.k. or mainland europe, BUT we are due to play
at this year's progwest festival in claremont ca in november. after that,
there's a strong chance we'll have something arranged in philadelphia,
courtesy chuck van zyl. the guys at progwest say they've got two 'trons we
can use...... does anyone know anything about any such machines in south
california? it's not brian k's- I asked already. I need to find out if we can
take our own tapes; I'd look a bit daft turning up with a 400 frame if
they're both 300's or mk2's.....
and then possibly new york, at least for guitar shopping, and maybe another
little set somewhere.

I'm trying to persuade the other two to set aside enough time to manage a uk
appearance but with finding time away from our day jobs to do the route-66
thing, we'll have to concentrate on getting our asses back into the studio. we
're using the drums now aswell- the gig in hampshire was the first like this,
and it's not without it's own issues that need work, like how the f∗ck you're
supposed to hear anything properly..... steve's on a lengthy miles davis/free
jazz trip while gary's becoming a one-man rory gallagher tribute with his
other band, leaving me to prepare a bare-essentials rig that we can fit in an
aircraft whilst leaving room for a few people, and burn a few dozen cd-r's to
finance the whole shebang a bit. and we have a planned detour to zabriskie
point too, obviously.

ken l- I haven't forgotten about y'r stuff, I just haven't got around to
assembling the right bits of video. "startide"'s been remastered, since my
original copy seems to have been a tad glitchy- most listeners are fast
asleep by the bit you've had problems with......

aye. that's the plan. I just got in from seeing Tool at the academy in
brixton; terrific show but why do sound guys insist on the bass drum having
to sound like liam howlett programmed it? it sounds like they bought the
sub-woofers from a car hifi shop......
