I think, Jimmy, you will probably also be aware of the interesting market in automobiles today called the "resto-mod" in which a vintage auto body covers a hot, high tech interior, engine and chassis.  There was a '69 'Cuda on Barrett-Jackson auctions recently that was basically a Viper undercarriage and interior with the 'Cuda body plopped down on it.  That's what the Memotron really strikes me as.  It's similar on the outside, and fulfills the same kind of function, but it has a very different set of "driving" and "mechanical" details.  It's not as cool as a Hemi 'Cuda, but it is worthy of a certain amount of appreciation for what it is.
