Deffinetly go with the Pinder CD. Has all the old
M400 sounds. The M300. Chorus, Flutes, horns,
Chamberlin, you name it. It is readable by the Akia
format. Will go onto an ASR-10 and will also go onto
the E-MU e6400 Ultra. $199, worth every dime. I had
the real thing at one time so I feel I can make
judgement. This is the closest you are going to get
without the real thing. Bar none! Trust me. I have
waisted alot of time and money on other stupid tron
replicating and sampling crap. They all suck other
than the pinder CD. Notes missing, programs crashing,
bad EQing, loading one note at a time like from the
stupid Propeler Head one note at a time sampling. Hum
bug. Go Pinder. You'll be happy.
If anyone is in the North Jersey area, goto
Bandx.net. There is a schedule there. I will be more
than happy to demonstrate any Pinder sound you'd like.
Or just let me know and come hear the band, lotsa tron
sounds throughout the night. Knights is one.
Thnx ,,,Rich
