I also have a plate (Stocktronics) which is, of
course, my preferred reverb for 'tron, but have used a
Furman sound RV-2 stereo spring reverb, as well. It's
particularly creamy and rich without too much
splashiness and has a sweepable mid filter that's very
flexible. It's also full stereo or dual mono. Very
nice on pedal steel guitar. They often can be had for
short money on the ebay (I think I paid $50 for mine).
