not in 1973 it wasn't. that band played together from April 1971 -
April 1972. that version of the band did play the Palace in Waterbury
on 3 March 1972.

obviously, not all the Mellotrons the band used are shown on that
site. during their 1969 tour of the States, after fire/water damage to
one of their Trons, they were travelling with THREE Mark II's
(although only one appeared on stage on any given night...the others
were backups).

from 1971 to 1974 they had 2 M400's on stage during their shows. Fripp
played one and either Mel Collins (1971/2) or David Cross (1972-4)
played the other. sometimes both were white. i've seen one white and
one black. so they probably were carrying 3 (possibly 4) M400's around
on tour at this point.
