Some of you may know that the wife of long-time prog gadfly L.
Perez, has just undergone surgery for cancer and is now embarking
on a treatment program. While LP & Barbara are positive and
determined, she has been told that in all likelihood she has six
months to live. Barbara's known as "Spider", BTW, in case some
of what's below is confusing. Two things that I want to bring to
the attention of the readers of various music e-lists:
1) The Barbara Perez benefit 3 disc CD project.
2) A special offer from Systems Theory to benefit Barbara Perez.

27 artists (at last count) have each contributed one track to the
Babara "Spider" Perez benefit CD project. This is being mastered
this weekend by Rob from the band Visual Cliff, and the discs will
begin shipping in August from Rick (drummer for the band Farpoint).

Until further notice based on a change in Spider's health, if someone
buys our recent album through the Soundclick link (see my sig), we
will donate the entire cost of the CD (less shipping) to LP and
Barbara. That's $13 that will go directly to them for Barbara's
ongoing treatment.
As a sweetener to anyone wanting to help Barbara & LP in this manner,
we'll include a disc with five Systems Theory-related albums on it in
VBR/HQ (high quality VBR) MP3:
"Soundtracks For Imaginary Movies", our two earlier evaluation albums
