A touch off topic –
I bought my tickets this morning for the Acoustic Strawbs show at McCabe’s in Santa Monica on Oct 29…….veryexcited! One of my “I’ll never get to see them in my lifetime”bands is going to be here!! I’m just that age where I got interested inthe Moodies, Strawbs, BJH, Starcastle, Gurvitz, etc. whenthe band had slowed down, lost key members, couldn’t afford to come tothe US or fully changed direction….NOW, that is going to change, forcrying out loud, and I had to tell somebody about it – take advantage ofthis kind of a thing – it doesn’t always happen in such wonderfulways!
