beauty in January and it was working fine till I came back from vacation.

Hi Martin,
I just came back from a 2 week vacation(last Sunday),went to play my
black beauty last night and I'm getting no sound.I checked all my
connections,cables-there ok.I've got power,the motor's running the tapes
are engaging and rewinding(after 8 seconds but no sound.Any thoughts?I
think I read you're on vacation also so I probably won't hear from you
soon but please advise when you return.
