Hmm -- since I apparently have fairly new preamp/amp (it's the single
combined board with the UA741), I'll check it for the 47k resistor.I hate to keep asking these kind of questions, but has anyone 'goneback'
from the ua741 single board to the older designs for the amp/preamp?Alternatively, any recommended changes to the ua741 design?
Hello Again Tom and Gang,
You got the PML1/2 , which was orig. a MK-V shared component.
The latter mdl. also incl. passive pan /reverb ctrl. provisions.Easy to spot the 47 K piggy-backed across the coax jack.
The ua 741 Op-Amp circuit has not been changed as far as I know.
The 741 chip updates the lineamp ckt (WME289) , while the preamp ckt.
is identical to that in all M400's (WME290) .Hope this helps, Jerry Korb
