My comment does deserve a bit more info. In particular, I saw some
folks on here that are also owners/listmembers of another British
product - the Notron MIDI sequencer. Virtually opposite ends of the
music spectrum. Given that there's only 2000+ Mellotrons and a
couple hundred Notrons in existence, the overlap is probably small.

Thanks for all the private replies. I do agree that it's wonderful
that the Mellotron is currently being supported by not 1, but 2
different groups and we can all benefit from that support (speaking
as an owner of many synths whose manufacturers are long gone).

I 'retired' from Analogue Heaven and other lists because of the
