I only know that it was from a very upscale studio in NYC (you know
the address) and the guy posted 3 big EML systems and the beautiful
formicatron on ebay without pictures. He had never sold anything except
though the pro audio net.. Nobody bid on the Mellotron and when I went
for the EML 0 bids and some other small vintage stuff. The deal I
made with him was for the tron for start bid and all the extras
including 11 loaded racks that were out at the service center with
their parts but he lost track of them in the 80's sometime. He
postulated that they were around somewhere. . After that I connected
with you told the guy iI was sending you to pick up or something to
lock down the price and to tell you what he knew.

It seems to me that Their local service center Sound Sales sold 10
loaded racks that belonged to a client at a bankruptcy sale aka cash
now sale.

Jimmy Moore's 10 racks (ok if the 10 had been there, the who's what
would be rearranged slightly) Sound Sales had been that careless with
that iamount of gear that belonged to a client that stored their tapes
at the shop. And they sold them without a word. I often leave some of
my best guitars at my local luthier (who makes and sells a national
brand, DiPinto). If he were being dragged away by the IRS he wouldn't
sell his clients property. and probably no ones trademark. either. The
MK4 looks a little like a Mosrite. But really.

OK who has Jim's racks, up with em, you know who you are.

Jim you should post a photo of your machine, I think it looks great .
It is singular and unique
