It was a very grand gesture of Dave Kean to fly down from Calgary at last moment
to attend memorial service for Doug Ferguson in the DFW area. We all should be
so honoured someday as to have our family/friends/music around us for the
ultimate send-off.

Doug repeatedly mentioned to me just how much he loved the Mellotron and everything
associated with it. His hopes were to revive "Bertha" to her former glory as full-fledged
MK2. Attached photo is of "Bertha" (MK2/138) at Doug's residence after it was
cleaned-up. Note the 25-cent juke-box deposit label on left-side fitted there as joke by
its previous owner.

Special thanks to all who honored the memory of Doug Ferguson on this List.
Sincerely, Jerry Korb
