And to be fair and balanced, I've seen and played a Mark VI, and I think
it's a great machine---consistent to play, cleanly built, nice upgrades
such as the tube preamp. I've seen pictures of Frank's work, and I'd swear
the refinish work looks better than brand new (ask him to send you some
pics). The Streetly Boyz do solid work--I've seen examples of their
dedication time after time (and now they have an arm in California,
too). I have parts and tapes from DK's shop as well as from the UK, and
I'm grateful that both have them available. The availability of those
parts have helped #805 and will help bring #1037 back to playability.
I like the fact that many have contributed and continue to contribute to
this community. It benefits everyone. Thanks for keepin' it alive, guys!
