Subject: GIG reminder: Forever Twelve and Cast in SoCal this Saturday night

From: sdavmor <sdavmor@...>
Date: 2004-01-14

Just a reminder for those in the SoCal area. Taken from the
rec.music.progressive usenet newsgroup. Pass it on to anyone in
SoCal that you know that you think night have some interest in
∗free∗ live prog by two bands I think highly of. :-)

This will be an excellent gig, since both Forever Twelve and Cast
have new albums to promote. Since the gig is ∗free∗, in a nice
setting, on a Saturday evening, come on out an support a local
band (Forever Twelve) and a SoCal/Baja mainstay for the last 15
years (Cast). Forever Twelve play symphonic rock a la early/mid
70s Genesis meets Renaissance, with a female vocalist up front.
Cast play a different brand of Genesis meets Yes derived symphonic
prog, with more rock and ethnic (mexican heritage) music worked in
for colour. So if you don't already have plans for this coming
Saturday night, and this sounds like something you might enjoy,
come out to Claremont and lend your support to all-original, non-
commercially viable, art for art's sake, music in a family-friendly
setting.

Cheers,
Steven Davies-Morris (who will be there)
