Reinhard,________________________________________________________________John and Martin at Streetly Electronicsare making new motor controllers and have also got a new motor availablethat is far more efficient than the old ones. This means that the motorcontroller is even better at keeping the pitch stable under load as thenew motor pulls far less current than the old one. Regards, Norm
Season's GreetingsNorm and everyone,
The new motorwill be fitted into MK-II/134 the former M-B
Pindertron, nowowned by Frank Samagaio.Haven't seen thisnew motor yet, but I heard it's much smaller,
and has moretorque than its predecessors.
Those of youwho own a cordless variable-speed drill
or cordless circularsaw know of the torque these small
low-voltage permanent-magnetmotors can deliver .
The better thetorque, less of tendency to "bog-down"
under severeplaying conditions.By the way JB/MS,any of these motors in place already on
"Beta-test" machines??Cheers, Jerry Korb (mahogany slivers under my fingernails)
