I understand Lake used a Mellotron on the Works tour when the orchestra became to expensive.

That's the most stupid reason I've ever heard for disliking them. Why not
just admit that you don't like them because they won't let you show off
outrageously?

Anyone know anything about this? I heard that he used it twice on stage for
FX in 'Tarkus' before it caught fire (!).
