If you are willing to take advise from someone who has the Propeller Cd and
has the Pinder CD then Listen. First off the Propeller CD is audio only and
needs to be sampled one note at a time. I spent a few days on one of these
projects and the final sound was pure shit. Very harsh anomolies of weird
sounds at the end of the loops, was total waste of time.
One year later I received the Pinder CD. It is by far the
paramount/pinacle/zenith of any Mellotron sampled, other than the real deal,
(which I also owned at one time). It has all you could want from any
traditional Mellotron sounds, M400, M300, MkII everything, brass, 3 violins,
trombone, choir, etc. and so on. David Kean, who I bought the CD from, was
the best.
