Hey all,

I'm sure this is going to cause the die-hards to cringe, but I'm
looking to get the most authentic mellotron tone I can get out of a
sound module. I figured I'd ask people who actually own a real
mellotron to find out what is close. Are there any software emulators
out there for the tron?

I've been looking at the Roland SRX expansion board (Ultimate Keys, a
combination of two JV boards called Keys of the 60s and 70s and
Vintage Synthesizers). It's the only one I've seen to advertise their
mellotron tones, so I'm hoping its good. Anyone heard it? I haven't
looked into any competitors, only Roland. Anyone else heard any good
mellotron patches in a sound module?
