Subject: Mellotron 400 on ebay

Anyone notice that the 400 on eBay didn't sell?   SHOCK!

Oddly, the seller never responded to any of my inquiries. And darn, I kept checking but the seller never got around to posting that promised photo. You'd think someone who wanted 8-12K for anything would have at least posted a photo, wouldn't you? Could it be that in order to get "top dollar" the seller figured out that he or she better "tune" it up nice and proper and became so engrossed in the process that they forgot to post a photo?

Personally, I can only conclude that the seller, upon re-examining the initial asking price, realized that if this machine is this valuable, hey, better to hold onto it. Or... perhaps they'll go hide it, report it stolen and try and claim that it's worth huge dollars 'cause someone had one listed for that much on eBay.

Not that I really care...

Sittin' here goofing on that guy,
