Speaking of my wife, Denis Keldie and I have been working on the newflute sounds recently and we need about an hour more of studio time tofinish things off. The recordings have turned out very well (very littledicking around will be need on these, Martin!) So everyone can look forwardto a fantastic bass flute voice as well as flute choir featuring bass,alto, C and Eb flutes available soon from a Streetly outlet near you.
Speaking of which, there has been a rumour going around that Streetlyis considering opening their first North American "big box" store in SanDiego this coming spring. The rumour is also going around that it willinclude a language lab where Martinge will be leading sessions teachinginterested North Americans how to speak cockney as well as Dick Van Dykedoes, maybe even better. I know it's hard to believe, but he claims hecan do it. What will be next you ask? Maybe Mike Dickson lecturing on "Whythe British Monarchy is so important to Scottish Culture"...
Maybe the canned music in the store will be done using Ted Taylor choir?I don't know about anyone else, but I would LOVE to hear this.
