We are offering a tape amnesty. Send us the old middle C from your troublesome tapes and we'll replace the full set at half price(plus p+p) on original EMI stock. You can even change the selection. Please quote your machine serial number when ordering. Thanks.
Martin, you should probably clarify something here. This will be a new set of all original notes, not a set made from that middle C note by pitch shifting or some shortcut like that. i.e., the reason that you want the middle C note is to verify that the individual has the tape set in question, and then to render it useless before replacing it (so that they won't have two sets).
Forgive me if that was obvious to everyone, but my first thought was "why does he want the middle c note"? It's early here, and maybe I've been spending too much time with my sampler.
Anyway, that EMI tape stock is great and it cured the wobblies in my MKII when I recently replaced the tapes. My only concern is that Martin will run out of it (there is a limited supply) before I need to do my next set.
