I was wrong... Gordon Reid DID mention Mike Dickson in the Sound On Sound article on the new M4000... sort of...
Under the section titled "The Cycling System" Gordon mentioned "tuned farts" as one of the sounds available.
You see Mike... eating all those prawn vindaloos, and washing 'em down with Guinness, proved useful after all!
BTW: I put a bulletin out on the article over at MySpace... should get some interest generated.
