It's basically 4 M1 units in a box. I think the M1 units are just as reliable as M400's providing they are properly adjusted. They are similar enough to the M400, but not exactly the same as there is an allan screw adjustment as well.
 
So this machine would be fairly reliable, compared to some of the older cycling machines, though with enough love and care anything can be made to work.

Probably talking to myself here, or at least I am
replying to myself!

I know a bit more about this now, there were 2 made
but the photo of the other one had pedals as well. I
assume this would costs $20-30000 or more. I
understand they had 1 inch 8 track tapes without a
cycling system so presumably it might work and be
fairly "reliable". Anyone know more or played one?
