Mellotronists@yahoogroups.comSubject: [Mellotronists] King Crimson - 'USA'
A heads up for the list: I've just bought the new 24 bit gatefold
release of King Crimson's 'USA'. Those of us old enough and ugly enough
to remember the vinyl won't have that many surprises, except at the end.
The two bonus tracks ('Fracture' and 'Starless') are superb - maybe the
definitive versions of each.
Best of all, 'Fracture' is not only incredibly ∗loud∗, but David Cross
abandons the violin to play the coda on Mellotron, something I have
always wanted to hear. Powerful stuff!
