Hi all-
Interesting pinch roller rejuvinator product from US
Recording. I wonder what chemicals it is composed of?
Went to the linked website, didn't find anything, but
maybe didn't dig deep enough. The stuff I am
currently using has methyl salicylate in its
composition (smells like wintergreen, of course). Any
opinions on this?
A timely email, as I just got done cleaning and
freeing some very stuck pinch rollers. Heeding some
previous recomendations, no oiling was involved at
all. Some serious Merbler Flicking was required,
tho(thanks Ken). My rollers are free at last!!
However, I ended up with 2 loud squeaky ones. Its not
hard to get oil just to the bearing surface (avoiding
the roller), but what would be the right oil?
Thanks (with back quite hunched)
