My feeling is that Genesis lost their "edge" when Gabriel left. Their solution was...add more lights! Yes! That's it! Lights will  so much more to our show than ever could.

I'll never forget the let down seeing the band on "Trick of the Tail" tour stop in Toronto. Phil sang "Supper's Ready" while wearing a Maple Leafs jersey and had his hands in his pockets most of the time. So inspiring...
