Subject: Re: [Mellotronists] M300a strings samples?

Thanks a lot Martin, I am new to electronic music, and don't understand all the terms. However I managed to find the reverb effect in FL studio which I use as the vst host for M-tron , It doesn't sound like Woolly yet but it does sound a hell of a lot better!

Can you explain what you mean by backing off the source signal?

Thanks

Mark

they don't sound as good.
NO!!!  They are not remastered at his very own request.  The sound you love is the M300A violins through the spring line reverb of the M300 which Woolly used to great effect.  You could back off the source signal and leave the reverb ringing.  This is the sound of BJH.  It grieves me to say it but the MTron can be made to sound very similar if you employ this same technique.

Best,

Martin
