Subject: RE : [Homebrew_PCBs] CuCl

I bought acetone just yesterday, but then again I live in a rural area
(potatoe field next door, had a pig farm a mile away, dairy farm on the way
to Montreal). On the other hand, it's only a 20 minute drive to downtown
Montreal and the subway system.

If you control one substance, the bomb-makers will just substitute it for
the next best thing. If you look at the chemicals in your laundry room,
you've got all it takes right there. They can't control all chemical bombs,
just not possible.

Since I'm not a bomb-maker, I have no problem showing identification when I
buy this stuff. We already have laws on some pesticides and herbicides.
They have to be kept under lock and key at the store; forcing you to ask the
salesperson.

There have been cases where STUPID people put stuff akin to agent orange
where children play. If it means saving the lives of a kid from a STUPID
person, I have no problem with these laws. Too bad we don't have a law
against STUPID people though...

Hi,

just wondering, has anyone noticed trouble buying CuCl chemicals?

I mean after the London bombs i would be slightly apprehensive buying HCl,
H2O2, and acetone for cleaning boards together.

I wonder if they will make it harder to buy this stuff.
