ebay has them for sure.
You just need a scrapped printer or copier, you could get one of those at
ebay, but i've seen separate fusers there too.
Ask local computer guys, usually one has a broken printer somewhere and is
happy to get rid of it.
As for modification, you only need a simple temperature control circuit,
and a motor.
I use a chicken-grill motor (the variety that rotates the spit). I had a
used one, but i've seen them for less than 10eur new.
The slow motor has the advantage you only need one pass.
You will need to change the pressure on the fuser to allow thick boards,
mine has springs on the front which i simply put into different holes to
change tension.
