Hi guys, more progress info...

I found a simple PWM circuit using a 555 timer (I had the spares to
hand) and used proteus to check the circuit operation and used Eagle
and Aoutlines.ulp from Brian Schmalz to create the isolation traces.
There is a picture uploaded into my picture emporium of the finished
& tested board...
Some of the traces were a little close together and made soldering
rather interesting ∗but∗ my fault for arranging the pcb tracks too
close together (old habit of component compression for economy of
boards)...live and learn point again.
